Ladies Gentlemen, dear friends
Association Rhone Alps France Algeria
AFARA

Are Lyon in the associative field for over 10 years

His goal is to work to strengthen ties Solidarity and cooperation (economic, scientific and cultural) between the two civil societies Algerian and French.
What we want is to promote closer ties between French and Algerians from one bank to another in the Mediterranean for a greater mutual understanding.
What we argue in this cultural event, it is a territory between two of the social and cultural mix that reflect diversity.
is also relentlessly question our mixed cultures become contemporary expressions of modern societies faced with threat declines community and closed ideologies.
is finally avoid the denial of history and geography that continue beyond the sterile polemics, to enrich their diversity, their mixing and their cooperation.
.
The event brings us together around the idea of "shared heritage", was conceived and organized collectively by our steering committee consisting of active members, very present, our Association.

We spent two whole years to develop and realization of this event in a spirit of solidarity.
It aims to develop and sustain links between France and Algeria on subjects that override the free discussion on all controversial memorial.

We chose the verbs Paul Eluard "Seeing and Understanding" as the main thrust of our approach.

Show:
Through these exhibitions, provide a directory to look for signs. The photo as evidence in space-time Algerian newspaper and its aesthetics. Understanding
:
This historical perspective to what the eye has seized through exhibitions paintings, photographs and sculptures.
This is interpreted to better understand the tangible and symbolic shared by the Algerians and the French. The conferences were held Friday at the library of the 1st arrondissement on the theme of France and Algeria "The shared heritage" were incredibly rich, reflecting the strength of the verb that carries the stories and hopes of peoples and which calls for an appointment with the policy.

exhibitions and conferences are also honored the "shared history". We trust that the architectural, artistic and symbolically opens the paths of our common heritage.
It is obvious to us, in the context that brings us together today, which France and Algeria have in common the characteristic of being "Lands Legacy" because they have been and continue to land crossing, meeting, mixing, miscegenation. Of these
